i-Visto gateway The i-Visto gateway provides general HD-SDI and SD-SDI equipment with high-speed IP network connectivity. It enables an existing SDI switching networks to be replaced by an IP network. Therefore, a variety of video media at different transmission rates up-to 1.5-Gbps uncompressed HDTV video can be handled over the integrated IP network with other data such as meta-data for easy contents management. i-VIsto HDTV camera The i-Visto HDTV camera is an innovative HDTV camera with direct connectivity to an IP network. Uncompressed 1080/59.94i video captured by its built-in high-end CCD is directly delivered via an IP network. It has 2.4-Gbps ultra-high-speed optical network interface cards based on NTT's MAPOS technology, which realizes high-quality video transmission. Its IP connectivity enables remote configuration and monitoring as well via an IP network. Generated preview videos are presented on an IP-connected PC monitor. i-Visto media converter Connecting the i-Visto media converter to an i-Visto network enables media format conversion over an IP network. For example, HD-SDI-over-IP signals delivered from an i-Visto gateway are down-converted to SD-SDI-over-IP signals via the i-Visto media converter so that they can be handled over an IP network and received by other i-Visto gateways as SDI signals.
