Stereo HD-IP Gateway “New XG-1” (i-Visto Gateway)

Overview
The new XG-1 is a low-latency, video-transmission system that transmits uncompressed video over an IP network. the XG-1 has the capability to simultaneously convert either one Dual-Link HD-SDI signal, or two HD-SDI/SD-SDI signals into IP packets. Both of these conversions are? made in under 15 milliseconds, utilizing 10 gigabit ethernet for transmission. In addition, the XG-1 can receive IP packets through the same interface and convert them back to video signals, again in under 15 milliseconds. In addition, an uncompressed Stereo-HD signal can be sent over an IP network. Using these functions, DVCproHD, MPEG-2, or H.264 compressed video formats can be transferred between XG-1s and stored to the i-visto XMS system for editing, eliminating the need for further compression. Rounding out the available features, the XG-1 also offers? Real-time encoding and decoding features.
