For broadcasting:
Remarkably scalable high performance system, with the flexibility afforded of a PC-cluster architecture. architecture allows Broadcast industry users to change the number of RAIDs and PCs in the cluster according to individual performance requirements.
For example, in a 16-PC configuration:
A 40-Gbps transmission rate corresponding to 26 uncompressed HDTV streams simultaneously InfiniBand technology and it's Remote-DMA transmission technique used as the interconnection network. The RAID system used for storing video files is The distributed RAID technique. This technique equalizes disk access loads and improves the scalability of the system size. Significant cost-effectiveness and low internal data transmission overhead. PC/RAID vendor independent.
